Super Video Speed Controller for Brave
Brave supports Chrome Web Store extensions on desktop. You can use the existing store listing without switching your everyday browser to Chrome.
Add to BraveInstall on your computer
- Open the extension’s Chrome Web Store listing in Brave.
- Choose the store’s installation button. Its wording can refer to Chrome even when you are using Brave.
- Review the permission dialog and confirm that you want to add the extension.
Play your first video
Reload any video tab that was already open when you installed the extension. Start the video, open the extension and try a moderate speed such as 1.25×. Check that picture and sound stay in sync. If nothing changes, check the extension’s website access and whether another extension is also controlling playback speed.
Installed, but no speed controls?
Open brave://extensions and check that Super Video Speed Controller is enabled and has access to the video website. Reload the video in a regular tab. If the player itself does not load, check the website’s playback first before changing extension settings.
