I mostly listen to clips at 1.5x speed but the standard jump to 2x is just too steep and the ability to fine grain, with your own stepping, just using your keyboard makes this extension indispensable and worth the highest rate you can give. The thing I miss is the ability to step frame by frame (current lowest speed is 0.06) and not having to download and use another program for it. This is very useful when watching a key change in a scientific video, wanting to walk frames back and forth to study the reaction closely. Can this be fixed? :)

Simple, does the job and works with several video hosts and gif’s. I cant watch a video at normal speed anymore

is just doing what i want it to: have a speedcontrole under my fingertips just like when working with Finalcut or Premiere Pro. And du to the reason that we’r dealing with mpeg stream it’s possible to speed up to nearly 13x @1080p (sound get’s lost @4x). Thanks to the guy who made this little tool :)

Best productivity tool I’ve installed in the last few years. Works with youtube and vimeo, especially good for instructional videos which you need to watch a couple of times but the voiceover guy is too slow or repetitive. I like 1.2 or 1.3 speed best.

Love listening to Stromae and I wanted to learn one of his songs but as it was in French it was too fast for me. It’s very helpful as I can slow down the video until I am comfortable and then speed it back to one. 0.50 on YouTube is too slow so 0.75/80 with this extension is very good!

This is the first review I have ever made, having been a HEAVY extension user for years now. THIS IS FANTASTIC. I SHOULD HAVE HAD THIS FOR YEARS!

This extension works perfectly. I use it to watch the lectures at an increased speed using the Plex Web Player. It works even on a low-powered Chromebook.

Works perfectly, it’s surprisingly handy. I only wish it had a “total time saved” counter to let me know how much of my life was saved by it :D
