This extension is amazing, but I just noticed that YouTube won’t play videos when this extension is turned on. Please see if there’s an update that YouTube released that affects using this extension.

I don’t usually leave reviews but this extension has saved me hours. It’s intuitive, flexible, and unobtrusive, and also it works with videos that don’t have a native speed control (cough ads cough). Even up to 16x the audio does not suffer. Look no further, for this is the one.

Recomendo para todo mundo!! É a melhor extensão de várias que já testei. Uso tanto que quando estou em outro computador sinto falta dos atalhos para controlar os vídeos. Surreal!!

Living my life at 1.20 speed as given me so much more time to be productive. For example, I have been able to come up with more 20% reasons to not start writing that novel that I’ve been thinking about for years and I have more time to look for my misplaced car keys before flying out the door in a panic. Also, do you know how the meetings at work always start 10-15 minutes late? Well, at 1.2 speed, you will be able to watch a whole episode of an hour-long TV show before the meeting ends! I can’t image a life without Video Speed Controller.

Greatest thing since sliced bread. Only thing I can think of right now to make it better would be if it were possible to get it working on DailyMotion, that way I could just use the keyboard shortcuts that I’ve become accustomed to to speed up their videos rather than going through their separate menu to do it. Basically, something is different with DailyMotion where this detects their video speed, but can’t control it.
