This makes me so happy. After watching videos at 2x for the last year, 2x started to feel unbearably slow. I’d also get really frustrated at vimeo’s lack of playback speed control. With this, I can whiz through an hour long video in twenty minutes! Even if it’s on vimeo! Perfect chrome extension. Ilya Grigorik is a fantastic person.

Absolute lifesaver. Use it every day to watch videos at 1.5x. I hope it stays up do date for a long time.

Best extension for video speed control. Only downside for me is that sometimes ALL video playback breaks, and have to reinstall this extension.

This was so helpful, when I hadn’t had the option to speed them up straight from YouTube already. And it’s so much more convenient than the regular speed options. Because with the extension, you can do like 1.30, or 1.70, or like 1.90, if you wanted to. It’s so much better than just being able to do: 0.25, 0.50, 1.00, 1.25, 1.50, and/or 2. I still do most videos at 1.50 anyways, but it’s still nice to have the option to go faster and faster, without such a giant gap in speed. Like, I’ll be rapping a song, and with the extension, I can go faster and faster until I can do it as fast as I possibly can. It’s a great extension, I completely recommend it to anyone that likes to speed up videos!!

I love speeding up educational podcasts to 1.25-1.5x speed and this extension has enabled that for educational videos. Thank you.

Helps a ton with school when i have to watch educational videos and the teacher speaks slow. I can speed through videos thanks to this!

Great for studying via youtube videos. An absolute must. Plus you can fast forward through annoying adds.

muito prático e funcional. indico para concurseiros, estudantes, empregados que estão fazendo treinamento, etc. em um vídeos de 2 hrs dá para “ganhar” até 40 min , ou mais, sem perder a qualidade.

I love this extension, it works great. I’ve been able to use it with YouTube and Netflix, but unfortunately not with Hulu or Amazon videos.
