To get skepticism out of the way, your brain can process much faster than the media you’re watching offers. As long as you can understand the speech (I watch shows/casters with accents a bit more slowly til I acclimate to the sound of their voice), you will laugh, cry, be shocked, all as if you were watching at regular speed. And you get so much of your life back. I binge watched Season 5 of TWD today (16 episodes, roughly 11 hours w/o credits/themesong) in three 5-episode sessions. It took me 5.5 hours in total (@2.05x speed). When I’m busier, I still like that I can get an episode in in under 21 minutes. Take your life back. #1 life hack.

This is the most useful extension ever. Fine grained control so I can watch some things at 2.2x and others just 2.0x or 1.8x is amazing.

Does what it advertises and helps me watch HTML5 vids at around 2x or more the speed. YouTube caps out at 2x speed but w/ the controller, you can get up to 4x faster. If you’re as serious about saving time as I am, you’ll be grateful for this great extension!

This has saved me days of my life from watching slow talkers. Works on pretty much every site too. Absolutely brilliant!

Works perfectly. Though, used to be able to hover mouse over the “controller” and scroll to quickly adjust speed. How do I get that functionality back?

This is an amazing Chrome extension. This extension works on all media within Chrome browser. I have saved hundreds of hours with this plugin. Thank you for an amazing and practical piece of software. This is the Best Video Speed Controller.

Muito bom, ajuda d+. Seria perfeito se tivesse para android… não consigo acelerar os videos no smartphone…

I’ve saved so much time watching videos at 3x speed, I can now watch 3x as many videos… I think I’m not being very productive here. It does what it says it does perfectly. Enough said.
